The High School Of Fashion Industries was established in 1926. They started their work with two classes. Three persons named as Mr Mortimer C. Ritter, Miss Jessie R. Dutton and Mr. Federick G came in the third floor of the Greeley Arcade Building. One class is for dressmaking as well as second class is for garment cutting. Today, it developed into the Central Needle Trades High School. This school at last was completed in 1941. Their name became Central High School of Needle Trades. It is a secondary level school named as High School of Fashion Industries. This school was located in Manhattan in New York. It is also the part of Department of Education of New York City. They also served nine grades out of twelve grades. They offer many programs related to art of fashion, textile design, marketing, fashion design as well as visual merchandising.

Their mission is to give qualities to their New York’s students that include creative thinking, challenging, effective, occupational, technical master as well as well in academic level. Their faculty members are more co-operative with students as well as with their parents. They give unique and effective education to their students. They also give the education of tailoring program to their students who have great interest related to this field. They give both occupational and academic education to their students. They give skills and occupational education to their students to fulfill their needs.
They choose their students on the merit base. Their selection is highly perfect. Student should complete the forum and give it to the board of Education. After giving forum, they give school exam. This school exam include different types of test like academic test and some other general test related to this field. They also submit portfolio in which their things that they make to be include in it. Student also join Junior School in which they take the classes of 15 minutes.
